N.I.S. — the Neurological Integrative System — is a kinesiology-based approach that uses muscle testing and integration techniques to locate and correct interference within the nervous system. The body's brain controls every function; when those control signals are disrupted, symptoms follow. N.I.S. identifies and corrects those disruptions, allowing the body to restore optimal function naturally and without force.

Chiropractic care focuses on removing interference to the Nervous System. At Auburn, that means a gentle, neurologically-informed approach using N.I.S., soft tissue therapy, manual adjustments and the Activator Method — working with the body's own capacity to regulate and heal. Our chiropractors do not take a one-size-fits-all approach; each session is tailored to the individual's needs, age and presentation.

Traditional Chinese Medicine understands health in terms of the flow and balance of Qi — the body's vital energy. When Qi is blocked or unbalanced, physical and emotional symptoms arise. TCM practitioners address these blockages through acupuncture, cupping, remedial massage, Chinese herbal medicine, moxibustion, and lifestyle and dietary advice — a system of care evolved and refined over thousands of years, and at Auburn applied with deep clinical experience and genuine care.
